FamSnap Terms of Service

These terms are written to be read, not skimmed past. Using FamSnap means you agree to them.

What FamSnap is

FamSnap is an app for capturing family moments — photos and short voice recordings — and turning them into printed photo books. The app is free; printed books are purchased.

Your content is yours

You own every photo, recording, and caption you create. You give us only the limited license we need to operate the service: storing your content, syncing it to your family members, generating your books, and playing your recordings when someone scans a QR code you chose to print or a link you chose to share. We never sell your content or use it for advertising. Deleting your account revokes this license and removes your content from our servers (see our Privacy Policy).

Your responsibilities

• You must be 13 or older to use FamSnap (it's built for parents).
• Only capture and share content you have the right to share — your family, your moments.
• Don't use FamSnap to store or share anything unlawful, harmful, or that isn't yours.
• Keep your account and family invite codes to people you trust — anyone you invite can see your family's moments.

Printed books, shipping, and our reprint promise

• Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Books are custom-printed for you and typically arrive within 7–12 business days.
• Our promise: if your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or with QR codes that don't work, we'll reprint and reship it free — no questions, no returns process. If a reprint can't make it right, we'll refund you in full.
• Because each book is custom-made from your family's moments, we can't accept returns of correctly-printed books — but if you're unhappy, email us and we'll make it right. That's not legalese; it's the point of the company.

The service, honestly stated

We work hard to keep FamSnap reliable — your moments are stored redundantly and backed up. Still, no service can promise perfection, so FamSnap is provided "as is," and we can't accept liability beyond what you've paid us in the past 12 months, except where the law says otherwise. Please also keep your own copies of irreplaceable moments — we believe in belt and suspenders, and your photos live on your device too.

Changes and endings

We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be announced in the app. You can stop using FamSnap and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
